Description
Summary:Coordination (CN) plays an important role performance of bond formation, bond relaxation and quantum entrapment, charge polarization, electron’s localization, densification and transportation. This could result in altering the chemical behavior and bringing in different properties such as catalytic ability, mechanical properties, magnetic properties, photon and phonon property, hydrophobicity and toxicity. This report intend to introduce the two distinguish properties of hetero coordination: catalyst and nuclear irradiation. The catalyst properties of hetero coordination can be seen in the case of boosting the reaction rate of Al significantly even with the slightest addition of ScZr. Not only that, ScZr act as catalyst for better grain refinement, tensile strength, plasticity and yield strength. All these properties can be changed as needed by varying the proportions of Sc and Zr. This report features on the effect of quantum entrapment and charge polarization and controlling the alloy proportion to obtain the necessary properties. On the other hand, some electronic properties of semiconductor are mentioned briefly.
