description | The present study reflects how traveling values and lifestyles of commercial bloggers have been portrayed in their blogs; through which the visual and textual materials on their blogs have been evaluated using the etic approach. In total, 4 blogs have been selected to understand their traveling experiences in a popular tourist destination like Thailand. In total, 47 blog posts and 670 photos have been analyzed through content analysis. Given that a research gap has been identified in relation to the values and lifestyles of a Singaporean tourist in a foreign land, this study serves to provide an understanding on how these values and lifestyles have been shaped by Singaporean commercial bloggers. |
