description The main objective of the Final Year Project Report is to provide a comprehensive idea on the mobile application named “Botanic Tour” featuring outdoor augmented reality (AR), and its supportive sections. For massive audiences visiting Singapore National Parks, many of whom are interested in plants, there are demands for a channel that supplies information about varieties of plants inside the Singapore National Parks. “Botanic Tour” is a useful mobile application dedicated to offer photos and relevant information of plants to users who are present in Singapore National Parks. The project primarily comprises of 4 modules which are Cloud Recognition, Clustering Algorithm, Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API), and a content management system including a website and a local host database. Above all, “Botanic Tour” aims to become an educational application for the young crowd, a source of knowledge for tourists, and a handy indexing tool for botanists.
