Description
Summary:To determine that bioinformatics plays a vital role in ageing and longevity, genomic data of human and animals were collected and being analysed. Subsequently, Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) process are used to pre-process the data. In this study, data collected from a public database (HAGR) are being reassembled into a local database that will be used for analysis. Furthermore, genomic data comparison between human and long-lived animal are done to identify genes that are important for human longevity. The local database will be linked with a web application to provide search, browse and chart visualization functionalities.
