Description
Summary:Asset Management and Production System also known as AMPS, is a powerful web-based system that provides end-users and project managers the ability to do asset tracking, asset previews and file hosting with real-time synchronization services. With the convenience of mobile devices, mobile applications are seen to be necessary to extend the capability of web-based services effectively as well as to provide a better user experience. This project aims to build a user-friendly, appealing, clean and stable Android mobile application for AMPS. This project is a continuation of an application previously edited and designed by Li Yishan for her Final Year Project in the AY 2015/2016. With an objective to achieve alongside the functional stability concern, this project builds on the existing Android mobile application with references to the previous project. This document illustrates the process of development including studies from similar products, requirement, analysis, design, implementation, challenges and future recommendations. As a result of this project, a renewed AMPS Android application is built with new interface. It provides a list of functionalities that include the previous application and new features like annotations, file property actions and video viewing.
