Description
Summary:This project aims to develop a compact electromagnetic radiation system by working with an external research group. The report comprises of 8 main chapters, beginning with Introduction. The introduction seeks to provide some background information on electromagnetic waves and its production in the real world. Next, listing the objective and scope of the project is discussed in length. Following that, the Literature Review section summarises existing knowledge regarding electromagnetic waves, its production and possible ways of heat transfer due to the production of such waves. In the section of Design Methodologies, the overall design of the proposed electromagnetic radiation system is listed in detail, and its methods of fabrication done in the section named Fabrication of Modified Blumlein Structure. As heat will be generated from the production of electromagnetic radiation, we will need to select an appropriate thermal simulation software to carry out simulations, and it is done in the second half of the report. Lastly, the report will conclude with the section on Results and Discussion, as well as listing of potential studies that can be done in future works.
