description Internet of Things is becoming an increasing trend as we enter the 21st century. With over 3 billion devices currently connected to the Internet, communication between human and devices is a common sight. Simple things can be equipped with a smart device to enhance its usability. Connecting simple things like a sensor to the Internet can help us in information gathering. For instance if no one is supposed to be at home and the front opens, a door sensor is able to inform owners of such intrusion. This report will dwell on how we can get sensors to be connected to the Internet and how we can make use of the data that the sensor has obtained.
