Summary:Tug-of-War as a mature sport familiar to many gained popularity throughout the years due to its physical intensity yet, also its ability in conjoining individuals to work as a team. Hence, adopted frequently as a team building exercise in camps, outdoor activities or even in military trainings. Nevertheless, in this modernized world, the traditional is often enhanced to the next phase. Therefore, the birth of the contemporary Tug-of-War sport, the Multi-Way-Tug-of-War game. The take on this trend increases the number of sides of play, limitless to your imagination as long as it retains the originality of the sport and the identification of the winner can be made effortlessly. Withal, the philosophy to triumph in those games can use a scant amount of thinking, strategizing an approach to play rather than matching forcefully with strengths. By which opposite of this, to outperform in a traditional one-on-one Tug-of-War game, it is predominantly a brawn muscular challenge with just a touch of strategy to alleviate. Therefore, to fit into this modernized age, this project - Robot in the loop, indoor Tug-of-War - puts a twist on the traditional Tug-of-War game by increasing the number of sides of play while preserving the essence of the sport, increasing its flexibility, yet scaling down the area of play through the incorporation of mechanisms and electronics in the designed structure. This report will review the enhancements put into the traditional Tug-of-War game, looking into the design process as well as the designed structure in meeting the goals and making improvements to the project.
