description In future, light emitting diode (LED) will serve as the next generation of lamps for indoor lighting. Visible light communication (VLC) using LEDs is a promising technology for wireless communication. In the proposed system, making use of white LED in the VLC system to not only transmit signals but also provide illuminance in the indoor environment. An example, an indoor VLC cellular system make uses of receiver to decode the transmitted data. The system can be constructed when the transmitter transmits information to the user equipment within its cell. The essential goal in VLC systems is to obtain maximum signal strength with the minimum interference, therefore, in this paper, approach such as making use of angle diversity receiver to mitigate inter-cell interference in communication were investigated by running multiple simulations. There are also discussions and the influence of inter-cell interference leading to different SINR which also reflect the performance of the system. Through multiple simulations, study of angle diversity receiver allows system to obtain desired SINR value as well as provide high system rate. Looking at the obtained results, it is expected that indoor VLC system will be of great use and influence in future.
