While some of the hedge fund entrepreneurs such as George Soros would rely heavily on technical aspects such as trade patterns to analyze the underlying assets, others like Warren Buffet wagers upon fundamentals of the companies he is interested in. This project aims to examine whether stock prices reflect all available information, be it fundamental or technical, and whether these changes in information reflect the change in prices with timely efficiency. Moreover, different hypothesis are explored and derived through both theoretical perspective and practical market movements. Bloomberg Professional® service is used to collect data for this project. |
