Summary:身为中国电影发展史上资源最多、,历史最深远、,发展最成熟的电影类型,武侠电影如今已成为中国电影的代表类型,并且许多武侠电影在国际舞台上得到了认可和认识。随着国际化的社会发展,跨国电影的兴起,在中国武侠电影发展上有两部跨国电影在国际主流电影圈里成就最高,而它们依旧是今日好莱坞外语片票房的第一和第二名的电影—— 2000年李安的《卧虎藏龙》和2002张艺谋所拍摄的《英雄》。《卧虎藏龙》和《英雄》除了在票房方面取得亮眼成绩,电影的艺术成就也是被认可的。身为中国电影产业中,跨国电影的先锋,这两部电影在叙事、人物形象塑造、江湖形象、政治意识形态等方面对传统武侠电影做出了改编,以创新的手法呈现故事,并且提出了有别于以往的形象和概念。本文将从这两部跨国过电影来分析它们对传统武侠电影的类型进行惊醒创新与突破,并且为这个电影类型所带来的发展。 Having a long history as a film genre, wuxia or martial arts films is now a film genre that defines China in the global cinema market. The chivalry spirit, traditions and thoughts that deeply reflect Chinese culture and history, are prominent elements in wuxia films. This makes the wuxia an irreplaceable and important genre in Chinese cinema. With globalisation and production funding from all around the world, there are two classic transnational wuxia films that still holds the Hollywood box office record to date. Directed by Ang Lee, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) still holds the top box office record for foreign films today, followed by Zhang Yimou’s Hero (2002) in second. Aside from the commercial success of these two films, the artistry shown in both films are also highly acknowledged by scholars. The films rewrote and improvised the wuxia film genre, by introduced new narrative ways, character development, ideologies and more, that were unlike those shown in traditional wuxia films. This paper will be focusing on how these two transnational films, made a breakthrough and contributed in the development of the film genre.
