Summary:Palmistry has brought an attention to many due to the interpretations of various lines and palmar features, as well as the use of these information to predict a person’s health or to foretell a person’s future. The study of palm reading has been practised since ancient days, and today, it uncovered more prospects in the modern palmistry. With the current advancement in technology, the palmprints were put to multiple uses, such as determining a person’s identity; biometric identification for immigration, user authentication for personal devices, and identification of criminals. However, there is a lack of a proper platform or system to house all the information over the internet, which can be a hassle for the users whenever they wish to search for the information they required about palms. With the existing issue mentioned above, it drives to the necessity to develop a user-friendly and interactive web-based system backed with a comprehensive database to aid the convenience of the users, acting as a proper channel to answer the queries of the users regarding health and fortune telling using palm features. Therefore, this project will focus and aim to develop and integrate on the web-based query system implemented for health prediction and fortune telling palmistry by pumping in more data into the existing database to make it more comprehensive, integrating on the query searches to perform sorting for better readability, and improving on the user interface for the entire web system. This report will also touch on the workaround of process to implementing this web-based query system and additionally, touching on the findings of single transverse palmar creases to disseminate information and bring awareness regarding such abnormal (unique) palms, in hope of serving as a guideline or avenue for future developers to integrate and future enhance on this project.
