Description
Summary:Perovskite solar cells have garnered a lot of attention in the recent years due to its cost, efficiency and easy fabrication process. Solar energy has been a more preferred technology in the market because photovoltaic energy can be easily attained from the Sun, without the use of motors to generate electricity. From 2009 to 2016, power conversion efficiency of the perovskite solar cells has increased from 3.8% to 22.1%. However, in the recent years, there have been improved performance characteristics on the perovskite solar cells. Researchers have found ways to better improve the cell’s stability and achieve longer carrier diffusion distance. In this report, fabrication of the inorganic perovskite solar cell will be done. There will be analysis of absorption spectrum, nanocrystal structure and I-V characteristics.
