Description
Summary:Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), more commonly known as drones, are the next disruptive robotic platforms which are meant to dive into wide range of industries. It is important that implementation and regulation of such technologies takes up to same place as the technology itself. Hence, this report examines the study of optimized pricing model of drone-based postal delivery. K-means clustering along with Newton’s method forms the basis of models, with an aim to achieve high optimization with respect to cos and number of deliveries per drone. Both models assume delivery of light weight posts through one truck and a fleet of drones. These models are largely based for Singapore’s demographics.
