Description
Résumé:This report explores the possibilities of the usage of EPD (electrophoretic deposition) process for assembly of Boron Nitrate (BN) and Mxene (Ti₃C₂), to achieve a thin layer of deposition of Boron Nitrate (BN) and Ti3C2 (Mxene) on desired substrates. The author investigated using different composition for the medium for EPD process, in particular using Sodium dodecyl sulfate (NaDDBS) and ethanol as dispersal agents to optimize the process. This report comprises of the experimental results of the EPD processes with varying parameters such as voltage and the composition of the medium and provides evaluation on the feasibilities of the using of the BN and Mxene for further EPD processes. Other important system factors such as voltage between the electrodes are reviewed and assessed in greater depths. Experiments are conducted in the laboratory and the results are consolidated, analysed and presented in this report to provide indication that the EPD process for Mxene is achievable and can be further explored for the proper optimization operating factors.
