Description
Summary:PVDF (Poly-Vinylidene Fluoride) is a polymer which exhibits high piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties after going through polarization. PVDF is known to have several beneficial properties which lead to the research of this polymer. Some of these properties are chemical resistance, non-toxic, resistance to aging, high rigidity etc [2]. Due to the film’s numerous advantages, PVDF is able to serve different purpose in different environment. As many researches were done on fabricating PVDF, this report aims to recreate the process and record down the details of every step taken to achieve the piezoelectricity property of the PVDF film.
