description Since the fierce rivalry between Thomas Edison (DC) and Nicola Tesla (AC), we have been able to use enormous electrical energy in almost everywhere and every time. Now, there is a new trend of transferring electricity in DC form as a result of the drastic development of power electronics technologies. As a preparation for the coming electrical system, a DC-based shipboard power system will be implemented in this project. Also, a variety of useful functions in Simulink and MATLAB will be guided to facilitate the system modeling process.
