description | The objective of this project is to design and implement a cascade boost converter with different feedback controllers. The aim is to regulate the output voltage of the converter in the presence of load changes, desired voltage changes and input voltage changes. There are two controllers used in this project – Non-adaptive current-mode controller and adaptive current-mode controller. Different tests are conducted to analyse the performance of each controller and the results are presented and discussed. Finally, a comparison is conducted to recommend the better controller for the cascade boost converter. |
