description | Location tracking has been a much-researched topic and has been gaining traction in recent years. There are many different devices and tools available to aid in local tracking, with accelerometers and magnetometers gaining more popularity both in research and practical usage.
This project aims to use modules from a MPU 9250 Motion Tracking Device in order to achieve the goal of location tracking. Data received from the modules are passed on to the computer using Matlab, and the raw data is interpreted into metric values.
This report covers the background and workings of the modules, as well as the processes and procedures used to obtain the values. The results are then analysed, and further suggestions are given in future works on implementation of the platform. |
