Description
Summary:Owning a house, buying a car and saving money for medical or general use are what every adult wishes to achieve. To accomplish these goals, money is needed to pay for such expenditures and also needed to save for future uncertainty. In Singapore, there are various government policies to help Singaporeans to own a house or relief aid only if they fall under a certain lower income group. To do so but with rising cost of living, one has to plan wisely with their money. The focus is on the millennials in Singapore as they are on the process of attempting to realise all these goals with limited financial literacy [1] and if they fail to plan wisely, it will prove to be a more difficult task at hand. The term millennials refers to Singapore citizens aged 23 to 35 in the year of middle 2018 to early 2019 which coincides with the period that the project was conducted. This project focuses on development of an interactive website where users are able to keep track of their expenditures regardless of the bank they patronize. Also, to list their insurance plans that is lacking in existing personal finance tools and further enrich their financial literacy profile by creating sessions that teaches one how to be more financially literate and to plan their finances wisely in return for the fulfilment of their goals.
