Design of a fully differential controlled gain open-loop wideband amplifier with high PSRR
This project involves the design of a fully differential controlled-gain open-loop wideband amplifier with high PSRR on 0.18μm CMOS technology. The fully differential wideband amplifier maintains the common mode output voltage at 0.9V through a common-mode feedback circuit. The 1.8V voltage supply v...

description | This project involves the design of a fully differential controlled-gain open-loop wideband amplifier with high PSRR on 0.18μm CMOS technology. The fully differential wideband amplifier maintains the common mode output voltage at 0.9V through a common-mode feedback circuit. The 1.8V voltage supply voltage has a power dissipation of 1.079mW under DC operation. The design achieved an open-loop voltage gain of 12.358dB with a unity gain bandwidth of 263.324MHz with a load of 150fF on each output. The output voltage can provide a swing from 0.208V to 1.593V while providing a total harmonic distortion of -43.902dB. The wideband amplifier is capable of PSRR+ = 82.53dB and PSRR- = 71.93dB when common mode signal is injected from input and the respective supply. The total layout area is 85.69μm X 40μm for the implementation of all the required devices. |
