Description
Summary:Teleconferencing has made tremendous progress since it was first introduced. From audio conferencing by having a simple three-way call, it has progressed to include video conferencing and web conferencing due to the advancement in the internet. Today, video conferencing and web conferencing are growing in popularity due to the convenience it provides. And more recently, teleconferencing has grown to include Augmented Reality (AR) conferencing. This project aims to create a new experience of teleconferencing by developing a simulation for teleconferencing which enables improved control of audio transmission to ensure privacy. This project is developed using the Unity platform. Although the integration of Mixed Reality (MR), multi-presence, and other features are not included in this project scope it will be part of the future development. This report documents the whole development and implementation process of the project in detail. It will describe the whole process from researching, identifying problems, developing the application and testing. It will also explain the functionalities developed and how they help to ensure privacy during a teleconferencing session.
