Effect of Clay on Crystallization Kinetics of Polyamide 6
Polyamide 6 has two phases: α phase and ɣ phase. Adding fillers should not change any phase. However, adding clay nanoparticles to polyamide 6 changes its phase from stable α phase to meta-stable ɣ phase. We would like to know why this happens. [Peer Assessment Review]
