description | QSAR (Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship) analysis of
insecticide compounds of sulfenyl methylcarbamate derivatives has been
investigated. Acivities of sulfenyl methylcarbamate derivatives has been obtained
from the literature. Calculations of descriptors and structural modeling of sulfenyl
methylcarbamate derivative have been done by Austin Model 1 (AM1) method.
QSAR analysis was performed by multiple linier regression (MLR) and principal
componen regression (PCR) analysis methods to get the best QSAR model for
predicting housefly insecticide activity. The best model is:
Log LD50= 2, 675 � 50,476 qC6 � 0,183 dipole + 0,001 SA
n = 19, R = 0,889, SE = 0,174 Fcal/Ftab = 5,743, PRESS = 0,452
Based on the above model, a new insecticide compound of sulfenyl
methylcarbamate derivatives namely 2,2-dimethyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-7-yl-2-
hidroxyetilthio (methyl) carbamat has been designed with higher housefly
insecticide activity. |
