Summary:Background: Since 2002 to 2005, there has been a gradual and continuum development of computer-based information system in the area of sub directorate of health quarantine (KarKes) in the 45 Port Health office centers (KKP) all over Indonesia. In the future, it�s expected that the establishing of port health management information system site (SIM- KESPEL) can be used as a news network, and as a main access for reporting and information for all port health management information system sites all over Indonesia. Currently, the usage of port health management information system site (SIM-KESPEL) as a news network, and as a main access for reporting and information between the central government (sub directorate of health quarantine/KarKes PPL & PL, Ministry of Health affair RI) and Mataram port health office can�t be launched optimally, and also the interest among the users to access port health management information system site (SIM-KESPEL) is still low. Objective: To evaluate the users satisfaction toward the port health management information system site (SIM-KESPEL) in the port health office level II of Mataram. Method: A case study with descriptive and explorative approaches. To explore the users satisfaction phenomena toward the port health management information system site (SIM-KESPEL) in the port health office level II of Mataram. Analysis and Results: The research was conducted to 11 respondents with various educational backgrounds. The data were collected through observation and interview. The result shows that 7 (seven) / 63.63% of respondents are not satisfied with the SIM-KESPEL site, and 4 (four) / 36.36% of respondents are satisfied with the SIM-KESPEL site. Conclusion: The users who are not satisfied with the SIM-KESPEL are 7 (seven) / 63.63% of respondents, while there are 4 (four) / 36.36% of respondents who are satisfied. The contents produced by SIM-KESPEL site are: (1) the information provided are incomplete, (2) the information provided are relevant, (3) the news and information presented are less up to-date. The formats of the design produced by SIM-KESPEL are: (1) The texts displayed are easily understood (2) Some menus available are in trouble (3) The color display has been comfortable to see by the users. (4) The setting of the information design is systematic enough therefore, it eases the users to read the information.
