Summary:Roth bracket is a bracket on the straight wire technique that popular among orthodontist and has been widely applied to all the human race. Inclination of labiolingual central incisors after treatment with bracket Roth currently unkwon. aim of this study was to determine the effect of a straight wire orthodontic treatment with Roth bracket system on labiolingual inclination of maxillary central incisor to Frankfurt Horizontal Plane (FHP) and labiolingual inclination of mandibular central incisor to mandible plane. This study was conducted on the lateral cephalogram before and after treatment of 30 subjects with the following criteria: age � 18 years old, Indonesian and treated orthodontic straight wire technique with Roth bracket system.The effect of the treatment to the changes of labiolingual inclination of maxillary central incisor to FHP and labiolingual inclination of mandibular central incisor to mandible plane those measured on the lateral cephalogram before and after treatment and analysis of data by using McNemar Test. The results of this study are: 1) Straight wire orthodontic treatment with Roth bracket system that has torque +120 does not change labiolingual inclination of maxillary central incisor to FHP into the normal range. 2) Straight wire orthodontic treatment with Roth bracket system that has torque -10 does not change labiolingual inclination of mandibular central incisor to mandible plane into the normal range.
