| description | The rules and regulations of medical record about permits the implementation
of nursing practice requires nurses to write every stage of nursemaid. The
problems in Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworejo. Data from
Nursing Departement in 2009, the average of the completeness nursing document
was 57.06%. The low percentage of completeness of nursing document is estimate
connected with nurse�s knowledge about the rules of medical record.
The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between the nurse's
knowledge about the rules of medical record with the completeness of nursing
document in Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworejo. The method
used in this study was cross sectional study, descriptive analytic types. The
sample of this research was the whole of the head of room and head of nursing
shift in the inpatient room in Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworejo
was 55 people. Sampling used this research is purposive sampling. The data
obtained by questionnaire and observation about the completeness of nursing
document in medical record, analyzed with Pearson Product Moment correlation
test.
The results of this research showed that nurse's knowledge about of the
medical record rules in very good category 43.6%, good 25.5%, enough 23.6%,
and less 7.3%. The completeness of nursing document in very good category
36.4%, good 40%, enough10.9%, and less 12.7%. According to the independent
variable related to dependent variable is the completeness of nursing document in
the medical record (p value = 0.000). Correlation number 0.967 showed there is
relation between the nurse's knowledge of medical record rules with the
completeness of nursing document.
Based on the results of this research suggested to the management of the
Regional General Hospital Saras Husada Purworejo to make supervision and
renovation for nurse to write the nursing document completely according to the
Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 269 of 2008 about Medical Record,
and evaluate the implementation standard operational procedures in management
of nursing document inpatient room. |
