| Summary: | This research, which is entitled Aspect in Mandarin Language, aims to
describe the aspect markers in Mandarin language based on its form and function, and
also to explain the causative factors in Mandarin language that have aspect markers.
This research is done using the qualitative-descriptive approach. The data
gathering process uses the observation and library research method while the data
analysis uses the descriptive method. The results of the research show that in general,
the aspect of the Mandarin language can be classified into the perfective and
imperfective aspect. The perfective aspect contains the experience aspect which is
