| Summary: | The phenomenon of cold lava flood damage impact on housing citizens and
other public facilities. This situastion requires good self-resistance, but the
uncertainly condition makes people run into difficulties. This conditions
especially in the goup of citizens who have the responsibility to others such
as volunteers. The volunteers should arise from hopelessness. This study
aims to improve the resilience of volunteers who are also victims of cold lava
of Merapi. The design used the untreated pretest posttest control group
design. A total of eight people into the experimental group and a control
group of eight people. The experimental group given Hope Intervenstion to
increase their resilience in the face of post disaster situation. The control
group given the same treatment after the study ended. The gain skor
between the group analyzed with Mann-Whitney and qualitative analysis of
the observations. The result show that there are significant difference in
resilience scores between experimental group and control group (Z = -1,795 |
