Fe, oil, phosphate, phenol, ammonia, color. Waste water management can be done by several technologies. One of them is separation
technology /filtration technology. One of filtration technology is membrane technology. This research uses it. The research wants to study filter's effectiveness and characteristic in screening waste water to get detergent. In this research it uses two filter polypropylene's membrane and one filter decarbonizes active. There are four parameters observed are pH, COD, BOD, and LAS. Membrane technology with two filters polypropylene and one decarbonizes filter is effective to use to screen waste water with detergent. One of the most effective filter membrane is decarbonizes filter. It caused of adsorbs process by active carbon. Adsorbs decarbonizes most effective in 20 minutes early. And then filtration process happens although not as effective as at the beginning time. The research runs for 120 minutes and results water with pH 8,0 - 8,2, COD's concentration 40 ppm - 50 ppm, BOD's concentration 5 ppm - 30 ppm, and LAS's concentration 15 ppm - 18 ppm. The pollutant decreases to under standard default quality waste water (qualities default pH
6,5 - 9,0, COD 100 ppm, BOD 50 ppm, and LAS 50 ppm). Filtration process happens on flowrate 29,33 cm/s, debit 3,96 ml/s, and temperature 28oC.
Filtration technology to screen water gets detergent is easy to be done and practiced. Acquisition tool it is easily to be done. Even though needful more research if will be applied at society. |
