| Summary: | Residential areas in the city of Tuban fishing is a coastal area that is still in a scope of the city area. Pantura road divides the north coast region indirectly makes two different areas between the town and the entire coastal settlements, it cause different movements and trends in each space settlements. Approach to the methods and theories used to
analyze the Space Syntax lay out residential areas, knowing the movements and trends of the user space, and how high the value of integration and permeability in the settlement. Arising issues in the region today is the gap between the settlements are split by the coast, leading to settlements in coastal areas tend to have an organic settlement patterns, a lot of spaces not connected by road to the other space potentially negative space and affect the sustainability socialization, integration and movement.
Focus of observation in the fishing settlement is active movement which includes the movement of car, motorbike, and passive users in the fishing settlement. The observations correlated with the value of the integration of locally obtained from analysis software, and overlay static maps movements and activities with convex maps.
The results showed that globally, level of permeability in the fishing settlement has a value positive relationships that are affected by the connection of space, structure, and attractor. While locally, permeability of area has a very small, almost no relationship at all.
The results of active and passive activities overlay with the integration value indicates that there is high activity in close area to center of the region and attractor.
