description This study aims to determine the differences of the basal purine contribution to the total purine derivative excretion in the urine of Kejobong and Bligon goat. This experiment using the method of Independent Student t-test to compare the two purine derivatives excretion of different goats. Food that is provided is peanut hay (rendeng). The reserch used six male Kejobong and six male Bligon. This experiment is divided into three periods, a period of adaptation for 14 days, periode collection when cattle were fed ad libitum for 7 days, and the period of collection when fasted animals. Do the determination of dry matter content (DM), organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF) and ether extract (EE) is performed by the method of proximate analysis for feed, food remains and feces. The urine samples, measured derivatives purine allantoin, uric acid, xanthine and hypoxanthine. The results showed the nutrients consumption and digested nutrients which include DM, OM, CP, CF, and EE between Kejobong and Bligon goat showed no real difference. While the volume of urine in an ad libitum feeding the Kejobong and Bligon goat also showed significant (P<0,05), with an average Kejobong goat 953.84, while Bligon goat 762.69 ml/day. Total excretion of allantoin and uric acid when fed ad libitum for Kejobong goat tend to be higher than Bligon goat. While total excretion of xanthine and hypoxanthine showed no real difference. Total excretion of derivatives purine from Kejobong goat higher than Bligon goat (P<0.05) with a average Kejobong goat 117.96±16.43 µmol/W0,75 and Bligon goat 72.40±4.53 µmol/W0,75. Total excretion of allantoin Kejobong goat when the fasting tend to be lower than Bligon goat. Volume urin during fasting no significant result. Average of volume urin kejobong goat 233.04 and Bligon goat 201.75 ml/day. Total excretion of allantoin Kejobong goat when fasted tend to be lower than Bligon goat, but the total excretion of uric acid Kejobong goats tend to be higher than Bligon goat (P<0.05), with average 18.85 ± 4.45 µmol/W0,75 Kejobong goat, while Bligon goat19.33 ± 2.28 µmol/W0,75. Absorbed purine of Kejobong goat 0.10 mmol/day while Bligon 0.06 mmol/day. Efficiency of microbial protein synthesis Kejobong goat is 0,07 g microbial N/day, while Bligon 0.05 g microbial N/day with the same digested nutrients BK. Contribution of basal excretion of purine derivatives to total excretion of purine derivatives goat Kejobong goat 15.98%, while Bligon 26.70%. The efficiency of feed use goats Kejobong better than Bligon.
