Summary: | Implementation of information systems in addition to offering
convenience, flexibility, and open up potential new business opportunities also
have risks that must be managed optimally. Not rare to find investment
information system that does not impact the business or are unable to provide
added value to the company, did not increase the capabilities and/or corporate
performance. Analyses were conducted to determine the determinants of
successful implementation of information systems. One famous study in the area
of information systems success of the Updated D&M IS Success Model (2003).
DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model reflects the
dependence of the seven measures of success of information systems, namely the
quality system, information quality, service quality, user statisfaction, intention to
use, use, and net benefits. This study uses the net benefits as a descriptor of the
most powerful in analyzing the success factors of application TiCARES Sales in
Telkom CIS Division. Analysis of success of application TiCARES Sales is
affected by the performance of application itself, the behavior of use and user
satisfaction.
The conclusions of study bases to the original 21 indicators used in the
analysis of the successful implementation of TiCARES Sales in Telkom CIS
Division and formed five factors can explain the variability of 63.875%.
Estimation results, indicating that the measurement of user satisfaction,
expectations of use and usefulness is a valid factor, significant and reliable in
determining the successful implementation of the application. System quality
factors are not enough valid in determining the successful implementation of the
application, but a significant and reliable factors. While service quality factors
are factors that are less valid, less significant and less reliable in determining the
successful implementation of measurement applications.
