| description | This research aims to examine the influence of environmental performance
to financial performance of the company. Environmental performance measured
by PROPER from The Ministry of Environment Republic of Indonesia. Financial
performance measured by earnings per share (EPS). The sample used in this
study were companies that the participants of PROPER and listed in Indonesia
Stock Exchange (IDX) with the period of observation in 2004, 2007, 2009, 2010,
and 2011. Purposive sampling method used in the selection of the data sample.
This research uses a linier regression to examine the influence of environmental
performance with firm size, leverage, ownership, environmental concern, and net
profit margin as control variables to financial performance of the company. The
result of this study indicates that there is no significant influence between
environmental performance and financial performance of the company. |
