in conducive outdoor spaces and engage with natural environment diminish. Nonetheless
law on children protection has open up new possibilities to fight for the rights of children
to have appropriate playing spaces, participate and live in safe and clean environment. In
this study, children from elementary and junior high school students were surveyed
regarding to their perception and ideas about the spaces around them in term to explore
and understand on how they appraise their urban living environment. An argument to
convince stakeholders of children�s need on better outdoor spaces and their valuable
capacities. Capacities that through children participation can be develop into awareness to
build their responsibility as future residents which further may help to protect their selves
from degraded environment. |
