The result was zeolite-KMnO4 scrubber give the best performance by comparing to other type of scrubbers which from different active agents and support materials. Six adsorptivity parameters of the scrubber i.e. the effect of concentration of active agent and ethylene gas standard, time of storing, speed of gas flowing, heating treatment and determination of adsorption capacity had been characterized. The results were scrubber�s adsorptivity raised by increasing the concentration of active agent (KMnO4) and concentration of ethylene gas flowed, but decreased by increasing the time of storing and speed of gas flowing. Heating would change the adsorption pattern of the scrubber. Adsorption capacity of scrubber with KMnO4 concentration of 2.5 % was measured to be 70 ppmlitre/ gram zeolit and supposed to increase by rising the concentration.
