description Behind all of the limitation of capital flight, the phenomenon of capital flight has captured many scholars� attention and interests because occured in almost all countries. The method of measurements Indonesia capital flight follow residual method in order to observe the phenomenon of capital flight in Indonesia during 1996Q1-2010Q4 and the factors that influence it. Results suggest that Indonesia capital outflows greater than capital inflow and capital flight experienced the highest peak during the economic crisis of 1997/1998 by using VECM and SUR. The contribution of this study showed increasing capital flight caused not only from internal, but also external factors.
