Summary: | Creativity in the degung is a concrete manifestation of the
development of the concept of Sundanese music artists along with the
changing times. Many ideas come up with its each innovative ideas in
creating new creations degung. It is a musical phenomenon in
Sundanese karawitan, which gave rise to a new phase called degung
kreasi. The novelty has not been set forth in writing. Therefore, this
paper aims to reveal more about the new ideas in the degung kreasi, as
well as how creative ideas that became a phenomenon in various models
of creativity degung is still seen as a part of Sundanese karawitan.
