| description | This research/study basically assesses/measures the factors which affect
the user�s resistance behavior for knowledge sharing through the use of Youtube
social networking. The literature of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and
Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is employed in this research in order to
assess/measure the user�s resistance behavior. This model is designed to keep
three dominant beliefs of TPB which are behavior belief, normative belief, and
control belief. Empirical data of this research are collected from 54
participants/respondents which are then assessed by using partial least square
with the help of SmartPLS version 2.0. application.
The result of this empirical study shows that the perceived ease of use, self
efficacy, perceived value, and switching cost are the factors which affect the
user�s resistance behavior for knowledge sharing through the use of Youtube
social networking. On the other hand, subjective norm does not have any
influence to the user�s resistance behavior. This condition appears because the
interpersonal motivation has more informational characteristics rather than the
normative ones. |
