Summary: | The compounds in the songga wood were identified by GC-MS method. It
was extracted by solvent gradation technique. The solvents were hexane,
dichloromethane, and ethanol, also methanol for fraction process. They were
evaporated to obtain highly concentrated extracts, then analyzed by GC-MS. It
present two identified of triterpenoic compounds, that are 1,2-
benzenedicarboxylic acid, bis(2-ethylhexyl) ester (CAS) bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate
compuond which it tR 25,4, m/z 390, and cycloprop [7,8] ergost-22-en-3-
ol,(3.beta., 5.alpha., 7.beta., 8.alpha., 22E)-(CAS) compound which it tR 34.1, m/z
410. They were identified mostly in the hexane extract (gas chromatograph peak
12 and peak 32) which each has % area of 2,1% and 15,1%. While the alkaloid
compound was identified mostly in the methanol extract (gas chromatograph
peak 3) as a brucine which it tR 38,1, m/z 394, and % area are 79,95.
