cause a decline in bank profitability. The strategy undertaken by PT Bank XYZ as
one of Indonesia's Bank in order to preserve and enhance profitability and ability
to win the competition is a way to control and manage every costs incurred in
order to be a worthwhile investment for both the company and its environment.
Any costs incurred, is expected to be a "good cost" or costs that can produce
revenue in accordance with the expected benefits and suppress "bad cost" or costs
that do not have a direct impact to income and trying to not cause "ugly cost" or
costs that will take advantage of the company. And the efforts to control and cost
savings can be carried out continuously and continuous, then formed the
Organization Cost Efficiency Team, among others, consists of the Directorate of
Information and Technology.
Based on a study conducted by Team Information Technology Directorate
(DTI), one of the high operating cost is the cost of printing and office equipment
that realization is reached ± Rp.31, 2 billion in 2007 and on the other side DTI
team received input from business unit of the length of the process of sending
documents from one unit to another unit or from one branch to another, thus
affecting service to the customer and can slow down decision-making process.
Related to this, the strategy undertaken by the Information Technology unit
in the lower mold costs while improving the delivery of documents from one
location to the work unit work unit is doing or the implementation of Managed
Print Services Managed Print Services (MPS) which will be done nationally. And
in this thesis will describe how the implementation of Managed Print Services can
lower operational costs, and also will describe the stages in the implementation
process and the challenges faced in the implementation process. |
