However, adoption does not always go smoothly in the face of various challenges. One challenge in the adoption of ICT is the ICT user readiness. Low level of users readiness will create resistance to further the impact of ICT and ICT adoption could derail itself and can create disharmony of environmental that the company or organization.
This study aimed to evaluate the readiness of the technology users in the process of ICT adoption in the financial sector in the Directorate of Finance of UGM, measured from the positive beliefs and negative beliefs toward technology users to adopt the method of Technology Readiness Index (TRI). The results of this study indicate that in general the level of user technology readiness is at a sufficient level, although users tend to have a sense of hgh discomfort and high insecurity on the use of technology. |
