| Summary: | mood Depression is disorder that involves emotional problem which
disrupts the human function, mental health and also has a high
prevalence in primary health care. However half of the patients has
not been detected, not being treated or not completely addressed in
treatment. Lack of skills and capabilities in terms of assessment,
diagnosis and treatment of disorders possed by psychologists who
work as primary health care provider contributing to the cause.
guideline which is formulated and will be tested in this res The earch
is a set of process that will be applied into psychological treatment to
provide a guidance for psychologists in conducting assessment,
diagnosis and treatment for depression.
Quasi experimental method will be used to obtain the evaluation
about psychologist�s efficacy towards deliverying service for
depressed patient using the guidelines and without guideline in
primary health care at the first meeting, patient�s satisfaction, and
total number of the patient that choose to continue treatment.
