| Summary: | Information and communication technology in government processes to
improve efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability of government
is the meaning of e-government. Currently, Central Kalimantan Provincial Health
Office has a website but don�t have the infrastructure yet for the local computer
network that is integrated, it is difficult for either unit urban region, district,
village and rural areas scattered throughout the province of Central
Kalimantan. Network Local Area Network (LAN) in the Department of Health is
only used for internet services.
The need for information by the health center to the Provincial Health
Office and vice versa via the internet also makes the basis for the development of
computer network infrastructure in Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office,
in order to become more bigger and structured and are connected to the
Internet. From the results of simulation and analysis with cisco packet tracer with
parameters time average and packet delay, for star topology wired network -
experiments two and wireless networks - an experiment one has a value of
confidence level and confidence interval is quite good and the price of hardware
components smaller.
