Summary: | Teachers often face problems of sexual behavior shown by the students.
Teachers interacts with the students constantly which makes them an
important figure in guiding the development of adolescents. However,
teachers lack knowledge and lecturing skills about reproductive health. This
study aims to increase knowledge and skills in teaching reproductive health
through training lectures. The design that will be used is a quasi experimental
design with untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. A total
of 8 teachers were part of the experimental group and a control group of 8
others.The study instrument used was the scale of reproductive health
knowledge and observation sheet of lecturing skills. The statistical test used
was Anava Mixed Design. The analysis showed a significant difference in
reproductive health knowledge (F = 5.448, p <0.05) and lecturing skills (F =
15.817, p <0.05) in the experimental group and the control group. This
indicates that there is an increase in knowledge and lecturing skills about
reproductive health in junior high school teachers, knowledge and lecturing
skills score are higher for experimental group compared to scores for the
control group. |
