| description | This study aims to determine how to handle negative eugenics in the early
and contemporary approach to human life by the principles of bioethics in health
care of Indonesia.
This research is normative research by identifying the different types of
regulations, application and relevance of rules and laws in the realm of bioethics
approach to health, especially in the handling of negative eugenics in health care
in Indonesia related to the problem and identification of juridical facts as a step
initial efforts towards improvement in handling situations of eugenics on health
care in Indonesia.
The results of this study found that negative eugenics measures early
human fetal life over the age of 16 weeks or four months should be avoided
because it has been categorized as living beings so that by her own rights and
moral status autonomously. Negative eugenics actions can be performed on
fetuses younger than 16 weeks with the terms of a condition that actually require
such action is taken, and do not conflict with religious values that embraced by
patients and has gained a comprehensive study of bioethics, while negative
eugenics measures in the lives of humans who still had a diagnosis of brain stem
life should be avoided. Actions negative eugenics in the human life could be
applied to someone who has had a diagnosis of brain stem death after a
comprehensive study of bioethics. |
