| description | Administration information system on population programs (SIAK) is a
programs of demography who are implementing information technology and
computerization to provide population data are accurate, complete, low overhead,
and are easily accessible as a database. This is useful as a reference any policy
formulation and implementation of each governmental activities, development,
and community in various sectors. The application of the Population Number
(NIK) on the e-ID Cards is a Single Identity Number, that will be expected to
make the e-ID Cards as the one owned by a single identity card that can integrate
the various public services such as health, education, banking, security , elections,
and in many other fields.
Yogyakarta is one of the pilot project of this programs, but it has not been
implemented properly. Therefore, before looking at the possibility of its
integration with other fields, it needs to be seen internally on the integration
between the database population itself.
This research aimed to determine how the possibility of integration
between the database population of SIAK programs in Yogyakarta and the factors
that influence the integration. This was a descriptive research using interviews,
documentation and observation as collection technique.
From the research it appears that the implementation of database
integration of population in the city of Yogyakarta has not implemented
optimally. This is evident from the persistence of data inconsistencies during the
process of verification that caused the existence of redundant/duplicate. If seen
technically, information and communication technology factors used are available
and quite insufficient, but the human factors is still considered less. |
