became victims because of the ethnic conflict triggered the need for outside
intervention Sudan.
At first the get the official mandate of the UN Security Council to
intervene in the Sudan is the African Union, but the United States is also active in
implementing foreign policy in Sudan, humanitarian intervention, and as a
mediator in resolving the ethnic conflict in Sudan. Foreign policy that run the
United States to Sudan have some consideration, first to resolve ethnic conflicts in
Sudan, both for the United States national interest related to the natural resources
that exist in the Sudan, particularly Southern Sudan.
The way taken by the United States in carrying out its foreign policy in
Sudan despite criticism from the international community but the United States
succeeded in running its foreign policy in Sudan. This is evidenced by the
referendum Sudan peace between North and South Sudan in 2005 and in 2011 the
South Sudan officially broke away from the Sudan. That means South Sudan has
officially become its own country and has been recognized by other countries. For
the national interest in neganya United States has managed to establish bilateral
relations with Sudan, the United States proved today is the largest recipient of
petroleum products from the Sudan, especially from Southern Sudan. |
