Consumer Arbitration Board (BPSK). Consumer Arbitration Board (BPSK), is a
public institution which run the exclusive judiciary authority in the field of
consumer protection with Dispute Solving Alternative (APS) as the basis of the
solving process. The board was founded on the basis of Act No.8 Year 1999 about
Consumer Protection, BPSK of Denpasar city which then became the writer
choice for the research.
To complete this research for the purpose of this thesis can be more
focused and scientifically justifiable,The method used by the writer was empirical
juridical approach. The location of this research is in Denpasar, Bali
The result of the research showed that the legal protection given to
consumers of physical gold investment is compensation, but compensation is not
given for the initial purchase of Consumers. Substitute losses here through the
mediation process in which negotiations take place between consumers and
businesses to obtain different deal. The process of implementation Consumer
Dispute Board (BPSK) disputes in Denpasar city BPSK currently not in
accordance with applicable laws and regulations. |
