Summary: | The program "Saling Menyayangi" is a program that was adapted
from the book The Anti-Bullying and teasing Programme for Preschool
Classroom, themes feeling compiled by Sprung, Froschl & Hinitz (2005).
This program is a continuation from the previous program with the
community theme. The aims of the study are to develop and evaluate �Saling
Menyayangi� training program to enhance teachers understand friendly
classroom climate and as an intervention to prepare them for more
professional and effective implementation of it. The study was conducted to
evaluate program "Saling Menyayangi". The output was evaluated the
effectiveness of training evaluation training program "Saling Menyayangi"
that increase knowledge and skills of teachers to establish a friendly
classroom climate. The output stage was measured using a training
evaluation program evaluation sheets "Saling Menyayangi", the evaluation
of knowledge and skills of teachers establish a classroom climate friendly
using Scale Science Teachers and teacher performance observation guide.
Implementing evaluation program "Saling Menyayangi" was used the
checklist compliance and enforcement records daily. The study involved
participants kindergarten teacher at Kab.Sleman. The data analysis phase of
modulesdevelopment was used descriptive analysis Professional judgment
and assessment evaluator uji coba program. Design research was using
quasi experimental model of untreated control group design with pretest and
posttest. Evaluation of effectiveness the program on teachers' knowledge and
skills was analyzed by differences on gained scores between control group
and experiment group. The results indicated training was increased
knowledge (significant 0.006, p <0.05) and the skills of teachers (significant
0.01, p <0, 05) establish a friendly classroom climate in the experimental
group.
